The Gospel At Colonus
In two weeks, the UWG Theatre Company will bring you a musical that will have your
toes tapping and hands clapping. Based on Sophocles’s Oedipus at Colonus, The Gospel at Colonus is a modern adaptation of this story of redemption and faith, and is infused with
euphoric gospel music throughout. The voices are AMAZING, so I hope you’ll be able
to attend! All performances will take place in the Townsend Center main stage. Tickets
will be available starting Wednesday, October 2 and are $10 for the general public,
$7 for seniors. UWG faculty and staff can get a 2-for-1 deal when you show your UWG
ID. Students get in free when they show their school ID. Call the Townsend Center
box office to reserve your tickets at 678.839.4722.
