Clinical Mental Health: 2018-19, the University of West Georgia M.Ed. in Professional Counseling had 51 active majors and 13 graduates. Our graduates consistently achieve high pass rates on the national counselor preparation, licensing and certification examinations. Of the reported scores, our graduates achieved the following pass rates on the 2018-2019 administrations of the National Counselor Examination (NCE): 93%. Of the admitted students to the CMHC program, we have a completion rate of approximately 74%, and a job placement rate of approximately 86%.
School Counseling: 2018-19, the University of West Georgia M.Ed. in Professional Counseling had 32 active majors and 19 graduates. Our graduates consistently achieve high pass rates on the national counselor preparation, licensing and certification examinations. Of the reported scores, our graduates achieved the following pass rates on the 2018-2019 administrations of the GACE School Counseling Content Tests I & II: 100%. Of the admitted students to the School Counseling program, we have a completion rate of approximately 85%, and a job placement rate of approximately 92%.
