UNIVERSITY OF WEST GEORGIA
STUDENTS IN NEWNAN
The Newnan-Coweta Public Library is ready to assist University of
West Georgia students in Newnan with all the resources they have
available. This includes a book collection of approximately 10,000
volumes
purchased by West Georgia for your use, numerous databases accessible
through GALILEO, and computer access to the catalogs of most other
academic libraries in the state (including West Georgia)--to name just a
few. We urge you to go to the Newnan-Coweta Public Library whenever you
need research materials. If the librarians at Newnan cannot meet your
needs, feel free to call or email Distance Learning Library Services at
Ingram Library in
Carrollton for advice on conducting your search.
Once you have identified the materials you need, Newnan library staff will
fax your requests for materials to the UWG Library. Articles are
normally delivered electronically to your current email address, and
books are sent to Newnan for you via UPS or courier.
The Library is located at 25 Hospital Road, just off Temple Avenue. Phone

Monday & Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
