Resources (http://www.lib.lsu.edu/sci/bio/biology.html). Maintained by
Louisiana State University, this site is a good starting place for links
to a number of biological science disciplines
- Biology Project
(http://www.biology.arizona.edu/). The University of Arizona developed
this online interactive resource for learning biology. It is designed for
biology students at the college level but is also useful for interested
persons in a number of related subject areas. Much of the information is
available in Spanish as well as English.
- Bio Netbook
(http://www.pasteur.fr/recherche/BNB/bnb-en.html). Provided by the Pasteur
Institute, Bio Netbook consists of 4,500 databases cross-listed into searchable
combinations of categories in three headings -- database type, organism and domain of
science -- or by specific word or country of origin.
- BioTech: Life Sciences
Resources and Reference Tools (http://biotech.icmb.utexas.edu/).
Located in Dr. Andrew Ellington lab at University of Texas at Austin,
BioTech is a hybrid biology/chemistry educational resource and research
tool on the World Wide Web. BioTech is intended to be a learning tool that
will attract students and enrich the public's knowledge of biology issues
in the world today.

site has some useful links to academic organizations, collections,
directories, and discussion groups all relating to biological topics. The
site is sponsored by the American Health Network, a cable TV network.

Internet Resource Collections (http://infomine.ucr.edu/Main.html).
Maintained by the University of California, this site contains thousands
of links to sites relating to the sciences.

in Government Documents in Biology

guide to numerous biological resources provided by the U.S. Government is maintained
by Ingram Library Government Documents Librarian Michael Aldrich.

(http://www.science.gov/). This catalog of government science and technology websites
pertaining to all aspects of science.
- World Lecture Hall
(http://www.utexas.edu/world/lecture/). Links to pages created by faculty
worldwide who are using the web to deliver class materials are available
here. The University of Texas maintains the site.
