National Cancer Institute online book of maps, text, tables and figures
shows the geographic patterns of cancer death rates throughout the United
States from 1950 to 1994 for about 40 cancers.
- Communicable Disease
Surveillance Response (CSR) (http://www.who.int/csr).
This World Health Organization website provides up to date information on
a number of communicable diseases worldwide. It also provides updates on
disease outbreaks, information on travel and health issues, and
international health regulations among numerous other links.

Computational Biology Service Unit
(http://www.tc.cornell.edu/reports/NIH/resource/CompBiologyTools/). This
NIH "Parallel Processing Resource for Biomedical Scientists" at the
Cornell Theory Center releases of computer programs for molecular and
protein modeling.
- DNA Vaccine Web
(http://DNAvaccine.com/). The DNA Vaccine Web is a
global platform for vaccine research and development. The site contains
multiple links including recent clinical news, a meeting guide, a patent
database, research articles, online journals, FDA guidelines, a DNA
handbook, and numerous other resources.
