DUBLIN CORE ELEMENTS
"The Dublin Core is a 15-element metadata element set intended to facilitate
discovery of electronic resources. Originally conceived for author-generated
description of web resources, it has also attracted the attention of formal
resource description communities such as museums and libraries."

TITLE: the name of the work
AUTHOR/CREATOR: the person[s] primarily responsible for the intellectual
content
PUBLISHER: the agent or agency responsible for making the work
available
OTHER AGENT/CONTRIBUTOR: person[s], such as editors, who have
made other significant intellectual contributions to the work
DATE: date of publication (Enter as: yearmoday 19980324)
DESCRIPTION: contents or brief summary
SUBJECT/KEYWORD: topic addressed by the work
RESOURCE TYPE: genre of the work, such as novel, poem, dictionary
FORMAT: data representation of the work, such as html/text, Windows
executable file
RESOURCE IDENTIFIER: string or number used to uniquely identify
the object
(URL)
RELATION: relationship to other works
SOURCE: works, either print or electronic, from which is work
is derived, if applicable
LANGUAGE: language of the intellectual content
COVERAGE: spatial locations and temporal durations characteristic
of the work
RIGHTS MANAGEMENT: source for acquisitions/access authorization
